Sierra Leone International Momoh Kamara scored a brace in week seventeen of the Swedish Allsvenskan in IF Elfsborg’s 3-0 win over Västerås SK at Borås Arena.
Julius Magnusson scored in the first half, and Momoh Kamara added two goals in the second half, taking his tally to three so far.
The match began with Västerås SK pressing high to disrupt Elfsborg. They nearly earned a corner in the first minute, but Elfsborg’s defence stayed calm. After settling in, Elfsborg took control of the game and created several scoring opportunities.
In the 19th minute, Elfsborg took the lead when Momoh Kamara passed to Julius Magnusson, whose shot deflected off a defender and went in for a 1–0 score. Elfsborg dominated possession in the first half but could not extend their lead.
In the second half, Västerås made changes and almost scored with a header. Elfsborg had a few chances but struggled with their final passes. With 20 minutes left, Kamara scored again, redirecting Niklas Hult’s pass to make it 2-0.
Kamara struck once more in the 77th minute with a curling shot to secure a 3-0 lead. Elfsborg controlled the match until the end, allowing the 6,155 fans to celebrate the victory and the three points.
